The search is under way for an alternative indoor agility venue so that we won't be so affected by the weather in the future, so hopefully we'll be bringing you some exciting news soon, and the Four Paws expansion plans will be back on track!

And 2010 finally begins...
So, the last few months have been a bit of a nightmare weather-wise! November and December were wash outs, and the end of 2009 and the start of 2010 have been buried under 6 inches of snow!! Spells of random weather are not uncommon or unexpected in this country, but why did they all have to come back to back?! Mum and I had planned over the Christmas break to get a lot of agility training done with Finn and Willow, aiming to use the extra free time the holidays gave us to concentrate specifically on them a bit more, but we haven't done any agility for weeks now! Our field went from being sodden and slippery underfoot to buried under a white winter wonderland, and has been unusable or inaccessible for a while now. And the drifts of snow caused delays to our Lifeskills classes, with course dates pushed back and much frustration and disappointment all round. But thankfully Friday evening saw 2010 finally start for Four Paws One Direction as the snow finally melted away enough to allow us access to the hall, and perhaps now we can get back to normal?!!
